A gonzo filmmaker and creative entrepreneur, Rodi’s dreams have taken him atop the highest mountain on every continent, the North and South poles and sailing across the seven seas to the most remote island on the planet. In 2017 he was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross of Canada for creating the multimedia entertainment studio Moment Factory. NOMADslow.tv provides a “stream of consciousness”—an endless flow of meditative videos inducing a psychological effect known as “Soft Fascination.” The term was coined in 1989 by psychologists Rachel and Stephen Kaplan, whose research on Attention Restoration Theory (ART) examines different qualities of attention, revealing that certain types tire out your brain while activities that broaden your attention can reinvigorate your concentration.
