Based in Barcelona, Filmax is one of Spain’s leading independent studios, active in development, production, distribution, exhibition and international sales of films and TV series. At MIPCOM, we present a strong slate led by Mouths of Sky and Not for Sale (Ravalear), with the goal of securing key sales with broadcasters and platforms. We are also focusing on negotiations around our titles with high remake potential, including The Red Band Society, Spain’s most adapted drama; I Know Who You Are, which recently performed strongly on Netflix Spain, seven years after its premiere; and Welcome to the Family, recently remade by Netflix in Mexico. Additionally, we will present our expanding film library and connect with producers seeking international partners for series already in advanced financing stages.
