A Fish in the Water

(Drama) Sefa is a gifted swimmer. He swims well enough to save his father Cemil in the middle of a terrible storm. Hatice, who lost her husband to the sea, wants her son Cemil and her grandson Sefa to stay away from the sea. Sefa cannot go to university because of financial difficulties but soon an opportunity arises. Coach Yavuz invites Sefa to his swimming team. Sefa accepts the offer, leaves his village and his beloved Ayse to go to Izmır. The swimming team is in danger of closing and Sefa is their only hope. But Sefa gets injured. On top of that, he learns that Ayse was engaged to someone else. Life becomes much harder, both for Sefa and Yavuz.
