Description

After receiving a slew of rejections across 1970s Los Angeles for her feminist magazine idea, earnest aspiring journalist Joyce Prigger meets low-rent publisher Doug Renetti, whose charm and persistence help turn her vision into the first erotic magazine for women. She reluctantly joins forces with Doug and begins to question everything she once understood about sexuality, becoming an unlikely champion for the magazine’s scandalous centerfolds and ragtag crew of misunderstood misfits.
