Description
When a strange murder occurs in a sleepy town, the police are baffled by a crossword puzzle left on the body. Fortunately, the famous cruciverbalist, known as “The Puzzle Lady,” has just moved into town. But the eccentric older woman isn’t who she claims to be; she’s the fraudulent front woman for her niece—the real puzzle expert. That doesn’t stop her from turning to amateur sleuthing. Soon, she discovers a knack for solving murders, and as it turns out, the town isn’t as sleepy as it looks.
