Description
Quietly situated in a corner of Nishi Ogikubo in Tokyo is the Three Star Bar. It’s a small place run by three former high school classmates: Ryoichiro Amamiya, the good-looking bartender; Satoshi Nakauchi, the silent chef; and Naoki Kobayashi, the owner. The menu says simply, “as you like”—whatever you feel like eating. Drawn by a mysterious appeal, people burdened with life’s trials and tribulations walk into the bar, are offered cocktails and dishes made from canned goods, and leave feeling a sense of fulfillment.
